SBI Will Consider Raising It To $1.5 Billion. USA

BANGALORE: State Bank of India, India's largest lender, NSE-0.49%, said on Thursday that its board would consider raising funds on June 11 in the form of one or more trunks worth up to $1.5 billion.
The bank said it would raise funds through a public offering by 2020-21, a set of conditions that hold the currency in US dollars or other currencies.
